Simon Bold | BOLDCOM Founder

Simon Bold is the founder of BOLDCOM. Simon first became aware through early childhood experience, then later through realisation, the radical contemporary split between the inner world and the material world of things. Many authors have described this disconnection of self-from-Self.

Simon's early awareness of this disconnection sparked a journey of self-discovery which gave him a strong desire to find skilled means to support others in bridging this divide. 

Further along the journey of life, the social divide of one person from another, and also the environmental divide of humans from their environment became equally relevant themes drawing his attention. After many years in leadership development consulting, Simon noticed that so many clients were expressing a need to have a consulting, executive coaching and learning approach which weaved life and business challenges into one integrated journey. He responded to this call and BOLDCOM was birthed. 

Simon has been influenced in his training by key mentors such as Otto Scharmer, Nancy Kline, Peter Senge, Jeff Levin, Edgar Schein and Integral Theory. He is an accredited Integral Coach and an accredited Thinking Environment CoachTM. Simon is also trained as a Dialogue Facilitator, and as an Advanced Presencing Practitioner through the Presencing Institute. He is a Body Spin Practitioner TM through Life Alignment International, and more recently as Heartstyles CoachTM. Currently, Simon works as a global executive coach while leading the BOLDCOM team and ecosystem of practitioners. He is particularly interested in capacitating entrepreneurs as a means to affect positive social change and incubation of micro-business social entrepreneurs. Simon lives in Cape Town, South Africa. When not learning, and serving leaders, he relishes the creativity of gardening, hiking, travel and family life.
